How to Easily Remove Lipstick Stains from Watches

Step 1: Gather Materials
- Clean, dry cloth
- Q-tips
- Mild dish soap
- Water
- Wristwatch cleaning solution (optional)
Step 2: Prep the Area
Using the clean, dry cloth, carefully brush away any dirt or dust that is stuck to the watch. Be extra careful and gentle as not to cause any scratches.
Step 3: Apply the Cleaning Solution
Mix the mild dish soap with warm water in a bowl. Dip the Q-tip into the mix. You can also use a watch cleaning solution that is specifically made for watch cleaning. This solution is generally milder and can be found in most stores.
Step 4: Clean It Up
Gently dab stained area with Q-tip. Be sure to be gentle so you don’t cause any scratches on the watch. Continue wiping until the stain is removed.
Tip:
If the stain is still apparent, try using a few drops of white vinegar to help dissolve and remove the stain.
Step 5: Dry and Finish
Use the remaining dry cloth to gently wipe down area. You can also use a paper towel. Finally, buff the watch with a soft cloth for a polished finish.
