Sometimes, applying lipstick can be tricky business. No one is immune from the occasional smeared lip product or the dreaded lipstick stain on clothing. If you’ve been unlucky enough to have your voile stained with lipstick, never fear! This article will show you a few easy and effective methods to remove lipstick stains from voile.

Method One: Rubbing Alcohol
- Apply a few drops of rubbing alcohol to affected area.
- Gently rub rubbing alcohol into the fabric with a clean cloth to help lift stain.
- Blot the stain with cloth until it is gone or significantly lightened.
- Rinse the cloth in cool water.
- Continue to blot the stain with the wet cloth.
- Repeat until the stain is removed.
- Allow the garment to air dry.
Method Two: Soap and Water
- Mix a few drops of dish soap with lukewarm water in a bowl.
- Soak a clean cloth in soapy solution.
- Blot the stain with the damp cloth.
- Continue to blot the stain until it is gone or significantly lightened.
- Rinse the cloth and repeat Steps 3-5 as needed.
- Allow the garment to air dry.
Method Three: Ammonia
- Mix 1 teaspoon of ammonia with ¼ cup of water.
- Dip a clean cloth into ammonia solution.
- Blot the stain with the damp cloth.
- Continue to blot the stain until it is gone or significantly lightened.
- Rinse the cloth in cool water.
- Continue to blot the stain with the wet cloth.
- Repeat Steps 4-6 as needed.
- Allow the garment to air dry.
