The first step to removing lipstick from Venetian lace is treating the stain as soon as possible. The longer the lipstick has to set, the harder it will be to remove later. If you can, try to treat the stain while it's still wet.

To start, prepare a solution of warm water and laundry detergent or pre-treatment solution. Soak stained area for at least an hour and, if needed, add a small amount of white vinegar to help loosen the stain. After soaking, rinse stained area with cold water and gently rub it with a soft cloth to help loosen the stain.

Next, check the label of the Venetian lace for any specific instructions related to washing and drying. If the item is washable, carefully hand wash it in lukewarm water using a mild detergent. After washing, air-dry the lace in a flat, shaded place. Do not put it in the dryer.

If the item is dry-clean only, take it to a professional dry cleaner. They will be able to remove the lipstick stain with recommended method. If you choose this route, make sure to inform them of the exact location of the stain before they begin the cleaning process.

With these tips, you can easily remove lipstick stains from Venetian lace. For more information, consult the manufacturer's label, or visit your local dry cleaner for professional advice.
