Step 1: Pretreat the Stain

Start by pretreating the lipstick stain with a stain remover or laundry detergent. Spread the stain remover or detergent evenly over the lipstick stain, taking care to rub it in gently. Allow it to sit for about 10-15 minutes before rinsing it off with lukewarm water.

Step 2: Wash the Garment

Once the stain remover or detergent has been applied, it’s time to wash the garment. Select a delicate laundry cycle on your washing machine. Add a mild detergent and set the temperature to warm. Run the cycle as usual.

Step 3: Check the Stain

Once the cycle is finished, check the garment to see if the lipstick stain is still present. If it is, repeat steps 1 and 2. Otherwise, you can proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Dry the Garment

Carefully dry the garment using a low heat setting or air dry it. Don’t put it in the dryer, as this could cause stain to set into the fabric.

Final Step: Inspect the Garment

Make sure to inspect garment after it’s been washed and dried to make sure the lipstick stain is completely gone. If it isn’t, repeat steps 1–3 until the stain is removed.

Following these steps should help you remove lipstick stains from your Uniqlo clothing. For more helpful cleaning tips, check out our cleaning guide.
