It's always a good idea to start with the simplest method first. Take your liquid laundry detergent and pour some on the stained area. Rub it into the stain for a few seconds to help loosen the lipstick.
If the detergent method didn't do the trick, try using white vinegar next. Take some white vinegar and rub it onto the lipstick stain. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off with cool water.
If stain is still visible, you may need to use borax. Mix a tablespoon of borax with several drops of water to form a paste. Rub the paste onto the stain and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. After that, rinse it with warm water.
If none of the other methods worked, ammonia and hydrogen peroxide are your last resort. Mix equal parts of each and apply to the stain. Let the mixture sit for 10 minutes before rinsing off with cool water. Be sure to follow the directions carefully as these substances are strong.
