The simplest way to remove lipstick stains from Teneriffe lace is to use hot water and detergent. Using a sink or basin, fill it with hot water and add a small amount of detergent—just enough to make the water soapy. Place Teneriffe lace in the soapy water and let it soak for several minutes. Be sure to use only a gentle detergent or soap specifically designed for delicate fabrics. After a few minutes, remove the lace from the soapy water and rinse it in clean, cold water.
If the lipstick stain is still visible after using the hot water and detergent method, you can try a vinegar solution. In a bowl, mix one part vinegar with two parts warm water. Place the Teneriffe lace in the solution and let it soak for at least 15 minutes. Afterwards, remove lace from solution and rinse in cold water. This method should help remove any remaining lipstick stains.
If the stain is still visible after using the other methods, you may want to try spot cleaning the area with a mild fabric cleaner. Make sure whatever cleaner you use is safe for delicate fabrics. Apply cleaner directly to the stained area, working it into the fabric with a soft brush. Let the cleaner sit for a few minutes before rinsing with clean, cold water.
Removing lipstick stains from Teneriffe lace doesn't have to be a difficult process. With these three simple methods, you'll have your lace looking as good as new in no time!
