Steps to Remove Lipstick Stains From a Sports Bra
- First, make sure you remove any clumps of lipstick before you start cleaning. You can do this by using a paper towel or vacuum cleaner attachment to gently brush the area.
- Once the area is cleared, make a solution of warm water and mild soap and apply it to the stain.
- Let the solution sit for a few minutes before agitating it gently with a soft scrubbing brush.
- Rinse the stained area with clean water and then blot with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- If there is still a residue, make an oxygen-based bleach solution with one cup of warm water and one tablespoon of dishwashing detergent. Soak the sports bra in this solution for five minutes.
- After five minutes, rinse the area with cold water and then let it air-dry.
