Step 1: Remove Excess Lipstick

The first step is to remove as much of the excess lipstick as possible. Do this by gently wiping the affected area of the sneaker with a damp cloth or paper towel.

Step 2: Apply Stain Remover

Once you’ve removed as much lipstick as possible, it’s time to apply a stain remover. You can use a commercial stain remover that is designed specifically for removing lipstick stains, or you can make your own. To make your own stain remover, mix together one part lemon juice and one part liquid dish soap. Gently apply mixture to the stained area of sneaker, and let it sit for at least five minutes.

Step 3: Rinse With Water

Once the stain remover has had time to work its magic, it’s time to rinse the stained area of sneaker with cold water. This will help to remove any residue that may remain.

Step 4: Allow to Air Dry

Finally, let your sneakers air dry. Resist the temptation to use a hair dryer or any other type of heat source, as this could set the stain and make it more difficult to remove in the future.

Now that you know how to remove lipstick stains from sneakers, you can keep your favorite pair looking like new!
