Step 1: Gently Scrape the Stain

Using a knife, carefully scrape away as much of lipstick stain as possible. Make sure to use light strokes to avoid causing any damage to the fabric.

Step 2: Blot the Area with a Paper Towel

After scraping as much of the lipstick off as possible, use a paper towel to blot area and absorb the excess oil from the stain.

Step 3: Pre-treat the Stain with Detergent

Apply a small amount of detergent to the stain and lightly rub it into the fabric using your fingers. Let the detergent sit for 5 minutes.

Step 4: Soak the Fabric in Hot Water

Fill a large bowl or sink with hot water and let the fabric soak for 10-15 minutes. This will help to loosen stain and make it easier to remove.

Step 5: Rinse and Air Dry

Once you've finished soaking the fabric, rinse it in cold water until all of the detergent is removed. Then hang it up to air dry, and you'll have a beautiful piece of silk organza once again!
