Step 1: Pre-Treat with Baking Soda and Abrasive Sponge

Start by pre-treating your pot or pan with baking soda. Sprinkle some baking soda over lipstick stain, then scrub it gently with an abrasive sponge or brush. This will remove any excess debris and provide a great way to start cleaning the stain.

Step 2: Treat with Bleach and Hot Water

Next, combine some hot water and bleach in a bowl or bucket and mix them together. The ratio is about one cup of bleach for every gallon of water. Submerge the pot or pan into the bleach solution and let it soak overnight. This will help loosen the lipstick stain and make it easier to remove completely.

Step 3: Scrub with Abrasive Sponge

Once the pot or pan has had time to soak, take it out of the solution and scrub the stain with an abrasive sponge. This should remove any remaining lipstick residue and uncover your clean pot or pan!

Step 4: Rinse and Dry

Finally, rinse off the pot or pan with warm water and then carefully dry it off with a soft cloth. Your pot or pan should now be free of lipstick stains!
