Things You Will Need

  • Cold water
  • Mild detergent
  • White cloth

Instructions

  1. Rinse the fabric with cold water as soon as possible. This will help to rinse out as much of the lipstick as possible.
  2. Create a mild detergent solution with warm water and mild detergent, such as liquid dish soap. Be sure to use a mild detergent as harsher detergents can cause damage to the pongee fabric.
  3. Take a white cloth and dip it into the detergent solution. Gently scrub the affected area of the fabric in a circular motion. Do not rub too hard, as this may cause damage and discoloration.
  4. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the spot with cold water to remove any residue.
  5. Finally, leave fabric to dry naturally. Do not put it in the dryer, as this will cause the stain to set.

Tips

  • If the stain still remains after following steps above, repeat the process until the stain is completely gone.
  • Always test the mild detergent solution on a discreet area of the fabric before applying it to the stained area.
