Step 1: Gently Blot the Stain

Using a paper towel or a soft white cloth, gently blot at stained area. This is to help absorb as much of the lipstick as possible. Do not rub the fabric, as this can cause the stain to spread further.

Step 2: Mix a Solution

Mix a solution of ¼ teaspoon of dishwashing liquid, a tablespoon of white vinegar, and two cups of warm water. Stir this mixture until ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Step 3: Apply the Solution

Using a clean white cloth, apply the solution directly to stain. Use light pressure and dab the area. Do not rub or scrub it, as this can cause stain to spread.

Step 4: Rinse the Area

Rinse off the treated area with cold water. Make sure to rinse thoroughly, as any residual soap will attract dirt.

Step 5: Dry the Fabric

Once all the soap has been rinsed away, allow area to air dry. Do not place fabric in the dryer, as the heat will set the stain.

And that's it! You can now enjoy your freshly cleaned piqué fabric.
