The trick is to tackle the stain as soon as possible. The longer it sits, the harder it will be to remove it. You will need either hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab.
Carefully apply a few drops of peroxide or alcohol onto the stained area using a cotton swab. Do this before washing the garment, as this will help break up stain.
After treating, it's time to soak the garment in hot water with an enzyme-based detergent. Make sure the water should be too hot for the fabric, as this can damage it further. Keep it in the hot water for at least 20 minutes, or more if necessary.
Gently rub and wash the garment by hand using warm water and a bit of detergent. Be careful not to use too much pressure as this can damage the fabric further. After this, rinse the lingerie with cold water and check for any remaining stains.
Finally, it's time to dry the garment. You can either hang it up and air dry, or put it in the dryer on a low heat setting.
And there you have it! By following these steps, you'll be able to effectively remove lipstick stains from your lingerie.
