To get rid of lipstick on jewelry, the first thing you should try is a mix of dish soap and warm water. Simply combine enough dish soap and warm water to form a thick paste and then use an old toothbrush or other soft-bristled brush to apply the mixture to the jewelry. Gently scrub the piece until all lipstick is removed, and then rinse it with warm water.
White vinegar is another effective solution for removing lipstick from jewelry. Combine equal parts white vinegar and warm water, and then submerge the piece of jewelry in the mixture for about 30 minutes. Then, use a soft-bristled brush to scrub away any remaining lipstick. Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
Create a thick paste out of lemon juice and baking soda, and then apply it to the jewelry. Use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub the jewelry until all the lipstick stains are removed. Rinse with warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
Rubbing alcohol is an effective method for removing lipstick stains from jewelry. To use this method, pour a small amount of rubbing alcohol onto a soft cloth, and then dab the stained area until the lipstick is gone. Be sure to test a small inconspicuous area first to make sure the alcohol does not discolor piece.
If none of above methods work, you can also try using a commercial jewelry cleaner. Follow the directions on the package to ensure that you use the cleaner correctly. Note that some commercial jewelry cleaners can be abrasive, so use caution when using them, especially on delicate pieces.
