What You Need for Cleaning Lipstick Stains
- Soft cloths
- Mild detergent
- Water
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- Leather conditioner
Instructions for Removing Lipstick Stains
- Dab a damp cloth into a mild detergent.
- Gently blot the stain with the cloth.
- Do not scrub the fabric as it may spread the stain.
- Blot with a clean, damp cloth to remove detergent.
- If the stain does not come out, mix white vinegar and water in equal parts and dab onto the stain. Blot until stain is removed.
- Rinse away the vinegar solution with a wet cloth and allow to dry.
- Once the bag is dry, rub a small amount of baking soda onto the area to remove any remaining odor.
- Condition the leather or fabric with the appropriate cleaner.

- Always keep make-up products stored in a make-up bag and never directly in your handbag.
- When possible store your handbag in a dust bag and away from direct sunlight.
