The best way to remove a fresh lipstick stain from guipure lace is by using a mild detergent or a specialized stain remover like shampoo. First, soak the lace in cold water for about 15 minutes. Next, add a few drops of detergent or shampoo to stain. Gently work the product into the fabric and let it sit for a few minutes until the stain begins to fade. Finally, rinse the lace with cold water, making sure all the soap or shampoo is washed away.
If the lipstick stain on your guipure lace is old, you will need to take a different approach. Start by applying a prewash stain remover product directly to the stain and leave it on for around 30 minutes. Then, wash the lace as normal, using the highest temperature setting recommended for fabric. For further protection against stains, you can also use a running wash cycle with an oxygen bleach product.
By following the steps outlined above, you should be able to remove lipstick stains from guipure lace safely and effectively. If your attempts are unsuccessful, you may need to take the item of clothing to a professional dry cleaner.
