Get Rid of Lipstick Stains from Espadrilles Quickly and Easily
No one likes a stained shoe. And if those shoes are your favorite espadrilles, it’s even worse. But never fear- there’s an easy way to get lipstick stains out of your espadrilles.

Getting lipstick out of espadrilles can be a tricky task. You don't want to use anything that is too harsh and could damage the fabric or color of the shoe. Instead look to more gentle methods.
The first thing to do is to take a soft cloth or cotton ball and apply some rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover to it. Gently rub the stain with the cloth in circular motions. It might take a few tries to get the entire stain out, but keep going until your espadrille looks like new.
If the lipstick stain is particularly stubborn, you can try using a few drops of dishwashing liquid or laundry detergent. Take the cloth, dampen it with water and put a few drops of detergent onto it. Rub the stain in circular motions until the stain is gone. Then take a second, clean cloth and dampen it with water, then wipe away any residue from the detergent.
Once stain is gone, take a dry cloth and wipe away any excess moisture. Remember- do not use any harsh abrasives or cleaning solutions to clean your espadrilles and be sure to test any substance on an inconspicuous area before using it.
With these simple tips, you can easily remove lipstick stains from your favorite espadrilles and keep them looking as good as new.
