What You’ll Need
- Butter knife
- Ice cubes
- Laundry detergent
- Clean white cloth
- Cotton swab
Steps to Remove the Stain
- Scrape off the excess lipstick with a butter knife. Don't scrub or press hard as this could damage your lace.
- Place an ice cube on the stain and hold it there for a few minutes. This will help freeze stain, making it easier to remove.
- Turn the lace fabric inside out and place in a solution of cold water and laundry detergent. Use enough laundry detergent to make a soapy paste at the stain.
- Soak the lace for about 5 minutes, agitating every so often.
- Rinse lace with cool water to remove the detergent.
