- White Cloth or Sponge
How to Remove the Stain
- Blot up as much of lipstick stain as possible with a cloth or sponge.
- Mix 1 teaspoon of mild detergent or liquid soap with 1 cup of warm water.
- Dampen a white cloth or sponge in soapy mixture.
- Gently dab the stain with the cloth or sponge, working from the outside in.
- If any stain remains, mix 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or ammonia with 1 cup of warm water.
- Dip a clean white cloth or sponge into the solution and dab the stain again.
- Rinse the area with cold water.
- Allow the fabric to air dry completely.
Tips
