Eliminate Lipstick Stains from Coveralls Easily with These Simple Steps

Accidentally getting a lipstick stain on your coveralls can be quite annoying and difficult to remove. However, it is possible to get rid of these stains with a few simple steps.

When it comes to cleaning and removing lipstick stains from coveralls, there are several techniques you can use to achieve the desired result. One method is to pre-treat the stain with a small amount of liquid detergent. Simply apply a few drops of detergent directly to the stain, then lightly rub in a circular motion. Allow the detergent to sit on stain for a few minutes before machine washing.

If the stain is more stubborn and difficult to remove, another option is to create a paste using baking soda and vinegar. Begin by mixing together one tablespoon of baking soda and one tablespoon of white vinegar with a few drops of water to create a thick paste. Apply this paste directly onto the stain and allow it to sit for at least 30 minutes. Once paste is dry, gently brush it off with a soft cloth or brush. You can then machine wash coveralls as usual.

If the stain persists, hydrogen peroxide is a great option. Dilute one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide with four tablespoons of cold water, then apply the mixture directly onto the stain. Allow it to sit for at least five minutes, then rinse with cold water. Once the stain is gone, machine wash the coveralls as usual.

Finally, an effective method for removing stubborn lipstick stains is to use a cleaning solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Dilute one teaspoon of rubbing alcohol with two teaspoons of cold water and apply directly to the stain. Gently scrub stain with a clean cloth, then rinse with cold water. Lastly, launder the coveralls according to the care label instructions.
