Using a measuring cup, mix equal parts of white vinegar and cold water. Test the solution on an inconspicuous area of garment to make sure it won't damage the fabric. Then pour mixture onto the stained area and let the solution sit for 5-10 minutes.
Once solution has sat for the needed amount of time, use a soft-bristled toothbrush to scrub the stain. This will help to lift any debris or lipstick residue that may remain. Be sure to take your time, to ensure that stain is completely gone.
Fill a sink or bucket with cold water and submerge the garment. Let it soak for 5-10 minutes, then gently move the item around to further break up the stain. Take garment out of the water and allow it to air dry.
