The best way to tackle a lipstick stain on corduroy is to act quickly. As soon as you notice stain, blot it with a paper towel or napkin to absorb as much of it as possible. You don't want to rub too hard or you will spread the stain further.

Next, dampen a washcloth with warm water and a little bit of laundry detergent or liquid dishwashing soap. Swipe the damp cloth over the stained area. Avoid rubbing; instead, gently dab the cloth on the fabric. Finally, rinse the area in cool water and let it dry completely.

If you prefer a more natural approach, there are several household items that you can use as well. Vinegar is one of your best options since it has natural staining-fighting properties. Simply mix 1 teaspoon of vinegar with 1 teaspoon of water and dab it on the stain. Then, rinse with cool water.

Another great option is rubbing alcohol. Remove any excess lipstick with a paper towel or napkin. Then, using a clean rag, apply the rubbing alcohol to stained area. Rinse it out with cool water and repeat if necessary.

Finally, you can also try using baking soda and lemon juice. Mix together a paste of equal parts baking soda and lemon juice and apply it to the stain. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cool water. Repeat if needed.

Cleaning lipstick stains from corduroy can be tricky, but with the right techniques and household products, it can be done easily.
