Before you begin, you will need some supplies to clean your lipstick stains. You will need liquid detergent, white vinegar, isopropyl alcohol, a sponge, a toothbrush, and a rag.
The first step is to rinse affected area with cold water. This will help dilute the lipstick so it doesn't set into the fabric as quickly.
Mix one tablespoon of liquid detergent with two cups of cold water in a bowl or basin. Dip a clean sponge into the solution and gently blot affected area. This should help remove any visible lipstick stains.
If the stain is still not completely removed, you can try applying either isopropyl alcohol or white vinegar to affected area. Use a cotton ball or a soft cloth to dab the isopropyl alcohol or white vinegar onto the stain. Blot away any excess liquid and then rinse area with cold water.
Once the stain has been treated with isopropyl alcohol or white vinegar, use a soft-bristled toothbrush to gently brush away any remaining lipstick. Start from the edges of the stain and work your way in with gentle strokes. Once you have removed as much of the lipstick as possible, use a clean rag to blot the area dry.
Once stain is removed, you can put the fabric in the washing machine for a regular wash cycle using cold water. After washing, make sure to line dry the fabric to prevent shrinkage.
With these simple steps, it's easy to get rid of any lipstick stain on Burberry fabrics. Just make sure to act quickly and treat the affected area with isopropyl alcohol or white vinegar if necessary. With a little bit of effort, you can keep your Burberry looking good as new!
