Before you start cleaning your briefs, it's important to test fabric for compatibility with any of the cleaning solutions you plan to use. Simply mix a small amount of the dish soap with water and dab it onto back of the stain using a cloth or cotton ball. If the fabric shows no signs of discoloration or damage, then you can move onto the next step.
In a small bowl or cup, mix one teaspoon of dish soap with half a cup of white vinegar and two tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide. Stir the mixture until it is combined and has no clumps.
Using an old toothbrush, gently apply mixture to the lipstick stain, making sure to not scrub too hard. You want to be as gentle as possible so that you don't cause any further damage to the fabric.
Using cold water and a cloth, rinse off the cleaning solution from the briefs. Repeat this process until all of the mixture has been washed away and the stain is gone.
To ensure that your briefs are completely free of the lipstick stain, it's important to let them air dry completely before putting them away. This will prevent any residue from being left behind. Once briefs are dry, they should be good as new!
