The first thing you’ll want to do is to remove as much of the excess lipstick as possible. To do this, simply scrape away the lipstick with the dull side of a butter knife and wipe the area with a damp cloth. This will help ensure that you don’t spread the stain further into the fabric.

Next, mix one teaspoon of mild detergent with two cups of cold water in a bowl. Dip a clean white cloth into the solution and gently rub the stained area until the stain begins to disappear. Rinse the cloth, wring it out, and dip it back into the solution. Continue wiping stained area until the lipstick is completely removed.

Once the lipstick is gone, you’ll want to rinse the area with cold water and blot the area with a clean dry cloth. To remove any remaining grease or residue, apply some rubbing alcohol to a cotton ball and dab the area. Finally, hang blouse up to air-dry.

With a few simple steps, you can have your favorite blouse looking good as new. Now, you're ready to rock a bold lip look without worrying about a lipstick stain.
