The first thing to do when ketchup gets onto your Zara clothing is to put a clean cloth over the affected area. This will help prevent stain from setting further into fabric. Once the cloth is in place, gently dab the area to remove the excess ketchup.
Next, take your Zara item to your sink and fill it with hot water. Add a small amount of laundry detergent to the water and use your hands to work it into a sudsy lather. Place the stained area of the clothing into the soapy water and let it soak for 15 minutes. After that, rinse off garment and check to see if the stain has lightened.
If the stain persists after the previous steps, you can try using a commercial stain remover spray to tackle the ketchup stain. To do this, follow the instructions on the product packaging and spray affected area. After letting it sit for a few minutes, use a clean cloth to dab the stain until it is gone. Rinse out garment and hang it on a clothes line to dry.
