When dealing with ketchup stains, most important step is to act quickly and treat the stain as soon as possible. The fresher the stain, the easier it will be to clean. Here are some easy techniques that you can use to remove ketchup stains:

  1. Blot area with a damp sponge or paper towel to remove any excess ketchup.
  2. Create a solution of ¼ cup of white vinegar and ¼ cup of water and apply to stain.
  3. Gently rub solution into the fabric of the tracksuit using a softbrush or cloth.
  4. Allow the solution to soak into the fabric for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Rinse the area with cold water and apply a detergent solution of 1 tablespoon of mild detergent and 2 cups of warm water to the stain.
  6. Once again, use brush or cloth to scrub area in circular motions.
  7. Rinse with another cold water and then leave the tracksuit to air dry.

For tougher ketchup stains, you may need to repeat these steps a few times before the stain is completely gone. If the stain still remains after several attempts, it may be time to call in the professionals. It’s important to remember that different fabrics require different treatments; so, make sure to check the instructions on the label before attempting any cleaning methods.

Follow these tips and you’ll have your ketchup free tracksuit back in no time!
