If your child has used ketchup on their toy without your permission, chances are it’s left some stubborn stains. Don’t fret – ketchup stains can be removed easily with the right materials. Here’s how to clean ketchup stains from toys:
Start by using a paper towel to quickly blot up any excess ketchup. Be sure not to rub the ketchup into toy, as this will just make it harder to remove later.
Next, mix together a solution of warm water and an all-purpose cleaner in a bowl or bucket. An all-purpose cleaner will be tough enough to tackle even the toughest ketchup stains, but gentle enough to avoid harming your child’s toys.
Once you’ve prepared your cleaning solution, submerge stained toy in it and let it soak for approximately 10 minutes. This will give the solution time to penetrate the stain and loosen it up.
After letting the toy soak, use a soft-bristled brush to gently scrub stain. Be careful not to scrub too harshly, as you don’t want to damage the toy. If the stain still won’t come out, try soaking the toy again for a few more minutes.
Once you’ve finished scrubbing the stain, rinse toy off and dry it with a clean cloth. Your toy should now be looking good as new!
With these easy steps, you can quickly and easily remove ketchup stains from your kid’s toys. No matter how tough the stain is, you can be sure that your toy will be looking good as new in no time.
