What You'll Need
- Cold water
- White vinegar
- Detergent
- Washcloth
Steps
- Blot the stain with a clean washcloth and cold water to absorb as much of the sauce as possible.
- Mix a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts cold water in a spray bottle and lightly mist it over the stained area.
- Using a dampened cloth, gently rub the stain in a circular motion until it begins to fade.
- Rinse the area with cold water.
- If the stain is still present, apply a few drops of detergent directly onto the stain and rub gently with a damp cloth.
- Rinse again with cold water and blot dry.
Additional Tips
- Always test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area of the fabric before applying it to the stained area.
- Avoid using hot water, as this can set the stain and make it harder to remove.
- If the stain persists, repeat steps 2-5 until it’s gone.
