Ketchup stains can be challenging to remove, but it's definitely doable with just a few simple steps. Start by thoroughly rinsing the stain under cold water to remove as much of the sauce as possible. Then, using a little bit of dishwashing liquid, scrub the spot gently with a soft-bristled brush. If needed, you can also use a laundry pre-treatment spray like Shout to help break up the stain.

Once the stain has been treated, it's time to wash the garment. To make sure all of the ketchup is removed, use a detergent made for colored clothes. Hot water helps to clean more effectively, so opt for warmest water the fabric can handle. Tumble dry the scrub on low heat for approximately 15 minutes or until the garment is completely dry.

Part of getting rid of stains is preventing them from happening again. Be sure to store any clothes with sauces or other potential staining agents away from other garments. This will help keep your scrubs looking bright and new!

Always treat stain as soon as possible to avoid the ketchup setting into the fabric. With a few of these simple steps, your scrubs can remain stain-free and looking brand new.
