Begin by blotting the stain with a clean towel or a piece of absorbent cloth. To avoid pushing the stain further into the fabric, use gentle pressure and start from the outside of the stain working inward.
Mix together 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts warm water in a bowl or cup. The acid in vinegar will help dissolves the proteins found in Ketchup which will make it easier to remove.
Soak stained area of the sari in the vinegar solution for a few minutes before gently rubbing the fabric together. Then wash it as normal with your laundry detergent. If the stain is still there after washing, repeat the above steps and then air dry the fabric in the sun for best results.
Ketchup stains are no match with these three simple steps! Follow our guidelines and you'll have your sari looking brand new in no time.
