The first method of cleaning ketchup out of your Reeboks is to use a combination of dish soap and water. To begin, mix together a few squirts of dish soap and a few cups of warm water in a small bowl. Dip a cloth or soft-bristled brush into the solution and gently scrub the stained area, allowing the soap to penetrate the fibers of the fabric. Once stain has been sufficiently scrubbed, rinse the area with a clean cloth and cold water.
The second method is meant for tackling tougher ketchup stains. Mix equal parts white vinegar and warm water in a bowl. Dampen a cloth in mixture and dab it on the stained area. Continue to dab until stain has begun to lift off the fabric. After the stain has been fully removed, rinse off the area with cold water and let it air dry.
For treating more stubborn ketchup stains, combine rubbing alcohol and cold water in a spray bottle and shake it up. Spray the stained area with the mixture and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Then, take a clean, soft cloth and gently rub away at the stain. The rubbing alcohol should help to penetrate and break down the ketchup, making it easy to remove. When you’re finished, rinse off the area with cold water and let it air dry.
With these three simple methods, getting ketchup out of your Reebok shoes should be a breeze! Remember to always pre-test any cleaning products you use on shoes, as too harsh of a solution can potentially cause discoloration or damage to fabric.
