Ketchup spills can make fast work of destroying attire, but don't give up on your rayon items just yet! It's relatively easy to get out pesky ketchup stains if you act quickly and follow this guide.

The first step is to remove as much of the ketchup as possible. To do so, use a clean white cloth and gently blot at the stain. Don't rub or scrub; this can actually spread the stain further.
In a bowl, mix together:
You can also add in a few drops of white vinegar or a teaspoon of ammonia to help fight the stain.
Using either a sponge or cotton swab, lightly apply the detergent solution to the stain, being sure not to scrub or rub it.
After applying the detergent solution, rinse off the stained area with cold water.
Gently pat the area dry with a clean, dry towel. Take care not to rub the stain, or you may wind up spreading it further.
If stain isn't completely gone, you can repeat these steps as necessary.
