What You'll Need

  • Cold water
  • White vinegar
  • Mild laundry detergent
  • Cotton ball
  • Toothbrush

Instructions

  1. Soak up as much ketchup as possible with a paper towel or clean cloth.
  2. Mix 1 tablespoon of white vinegar, 1 teaspoon of mild laundry detergent, and 1 cup of cold water together.
  3. Soak a cotton ball in the mixture and gently dab the stained area until the stain is gone.
  4. If the stain persists, use a toothbrush dipped in the mixture and gently scrub the area until the stain disappears.
  5. Once the stain is gone, rinse the parka with cold water and let it air dry.

Tips

  • Always test any cleaning solution on a small, hidden area of the parka to ensure the color does not fade.
  • Never put a parka in the dryer before stain is completely gone.
  • Be sure to read the care label on your parka before cleaning it.
