- Blot the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel as soon as possible to soak up any excess ketchup. Do not rub the stain as this may spread the sauce deeper into the material.
- Mix one teaspoon of mild detergent or laundry pre-treatment liquid with 1/4 cup of cool water.
