Ketchup can be especially difficult to remove from shoes, due to its highly acidic content. To get started, mix equal parts water and white vinegar together in a bowl. Dip a clean, soft cloth into solution and dab it onto stained area. Then, scrub the affected area gently with a toothbrush. It's important not to be too rough or you may damage the fabric. Once the stain has been loosened, rinse off the vinegar and water mixture with warm water.

If the stain still remains, mix one part liquid dish soap with two parts hydrogen peroxide into a bowl. Dip your cloth into the mixture and apply it to the stained area, rubbing in a circular motion. After a few minutes, rinse the solution away with warm water. Repeat this process several times if necessary.

In more severe cases, use a laundry pre-treatment product to tackle tough stains. Apply the pre-treatment according to the instructions on the label, then wash the garment as you normally would. This should do the trick in removing the ketchup stain from your Nike shoes.
