The first thing you want to do is blot the stain with a cloth or paper towel to get rid of any excess ketchup. Then, mix together a solution of 1 tablespoon dish detergent and 1 cup of cold water. Dip a clean cloth into that solution and gently dab ketchup stain. Continue doing so until the stain starts to lighten or disappears completely.
Once stain has lightened or been removed completely, rinse the area with cold water. Finally, if the ketchup stain still remains, apply some white vinegar directly to the area and let it sit for 2-5 minutes before rinsing again with cold water. Dry the leggings with a towel or in the dryer.
