When it comes to removing ketchup stains from lace, there are a few different routes that are effective. First, start by carefully removing any excess ketchup with a dull knife. Make sure not to use anything too sharp, as you don’t want to snag the lace.

The next step is to place the lace in the sink with cold water. Let ketchup softened by the cold water before gently scrubbing fabric with a mild soap or detergent. Be careful not to rub too hard, as this could damage the lace.

Once you’ve removed most of ketchup, rinse the lace off thoroughly in cold water. To be certain that all the soap has been rinsed off, you may want to immerse the material in clear water several times.

If the stain still persists even after rinsing, try using a bit of white vinegar. Adding a few drops of white vinegar to cold water can help to break down stubborn ketchup stains. Allow the fabric to soak in vinegar and cold water for about 15 minutes before rinsing again.

Once you’ve tried one of the above methods, allow the lace to air dry. If the stain is still visible, you can try repeating the process until it is completely removed.
