What You Need
- A bowl or sink
- Cold water
- Mild detergent
- White vinegar
- A soft, white cloth
Instructions
- Start by blotting the stain with a cold, damp cloth. Don't rub it as this can cause the stain to spread.
- Fill a bowl or sink with cold water and a few drops of mild detergent. Gently submerge stained area in soapy water for up to 30 minutes.
- Rinse area with cold water to remove any residue or soap left behind.
- Mix equal parts white vinegar and cold water in a bowl. Dip a soft, white cloth into solution and gently dab the stain with cloth.
- Rinse the area with cold water and let fabric air dry.
Additional Tips
- If the stain is still visible after you've followed the instructions above, try soaking the fabric in a solution of equal parts distilled white vinegar and cold water for 30 minutes before washing it with a mild detergent.
