Removing Ketchup Stains from Hermes Bags

Before you start, you'll want to make sure you’re prepared. Gather together the following supplies: warm water, a clean cloth, white distilled vinegar, and laundry detergent. You may also need to purchase a suede brush, depending on the type of fabric your bag is made out of.

  1. Start by taking a dry microfiber cloth and blotting the area affected by the ketchup stain.
  2. Mix together one teaspoon of laundry detergent with one cup of warm water.
  3. Dip a new microfiber cloth into the detergent mixture and gently scrub the affected area.
  4. If you have a suede Hermes bag, you'll also need to use a suede brush to remove the stain.
  5. Once the stain is removed, mix together one tablespoon of white distilled vinegar with two cups of warm water. Dip a cloth into the mixture and gently pat the area of the bag that was previously stained.
  6. Let the bag air dry completely.

That's all it takes to effectively remove ketchup stains from your Hermes bag! Keep in mind that these methods may not be suitable for certain fabrics. If you're still not sure how to proceed, it's always best to take your bag to a qualified leather specialist for expert cleaning.
