Carefully dab the stained area with paper towels as quickly as possible to remove as much of the ketchup as you can. Don’t rub or scrub the stain, as this could spread it further and make it harder to remove.
Spray the stain remover directly onto the stain, making sure to cover the entire stain. Allow the solution to sit on the stain for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.
Fill a bucket or sink with warm water and a few drops of dish soap. Place the stain-soaked shoes in the water and let them soak for 15-20 minutes.
Remove the shoes from the water and rinse them off with clean water. Gently scrub any remaining residue away with a soft cloth.
Mix one part white vinegar and two parts warm water in a bowl. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and dab it onto the shoes to remove any lingering odors. Allow the shoes to air dry completely before wearing them.
MIx equal parts water and baking soda to form a paste, then apply the paste to the stain and let it sit for 10-20 minutes. Once the paste is dry, brush it off gently and your shoes should be good as new.
