The first step in removing a ketchup stain is to rinse the fabric with cold water. This will help stop the ketchup from setting into the fabric and will also help lift some of stain away. For best results, use a spray bottle to lightly spritz the stained area.
Next, create a light lather with some organic soap and apply it directly to the stain. Work the soap into the fabric with your fingertips and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes. This will help further loosen ketchup stain.
Once you’ve worked in the soap, rinse the fabric in cold water to further remove the stain. If the stain is still present, repeat these steps as necessary until you have removed as much of stain as possible.
If ketchup stain persists, the next step is to apply rubbing alcohol. Soak a clean cloth in some rubbing alcohol and dab the stained area with the cloth. Do not rub the fabric or you may damage it. Allow rubbing alcohol to sit on the fabric for 5-10 minutes.
Once the rubbing alcohol has had a chance to do its work, wash the fabric in cold water and then dry as usual. If the stain has been fully removed, you’re all set! Otherwise, repeat steps 1-4 until the stain has been removed.
Cleaning ketchup stains from a camisole doesn’t have to be a daunting task. With a few simple steps, you can have your garment looking clean and pristine in no time. We hope you find this guide helpful and that it helps restore your camisole to its former glory!
