How to Easily Remove Ketchup Stains from Bras

Ketchup stains can easily show up on bras due to the fact that ketchup is quite a sticky substance. Especially if you’re eating something like burgers or hot dogs while wearing a white bra, chances of getting a ketchup stain are especially high.
The good news is, there are several easy ways to remove ketchup stains from bras without too much trouble:
- If stain is still fresh and hasn’t been settled into the fabric for too long, treat it immediately by soaking a cloth or paper towel in cold water, then using it to blot the stain until it’s gone.
- Another great method is to create a mixture of warm water and laundry detergent (one teaspoon for every cup of water). Dip a clean rag or cloth into the mixture and scrub the stain gently until it’s gone.
- You can also use a cleaner specifically made for removing ketchup stains such as Zout, which comes in both liquid form and pre-treated wipes.
- Finally, if the above methods don’t work, try soaking the bra in a solution of warm water and oxy laundry detergent for at least 10 minutes prior to washing.
