Step 1: Blot the Stain

Start by giving the stain a good blot with a clean, dry cloth. Don't rub the stain, as that can cause it to spread further.

Step 2: Pre-Treat with Detergent

Mix a solution of ¼ teaspoon of liquid laundry detergent with 1 cup of warm water. Dip a cloth in the mixture, then dab it onto the stain. Allow the detergent to sit for about 10 minutes.

Step 3: Soak in Warm Water

Fill a basin or bucket with warm water and add a small amount of dish soap. Place your blouse in the water and let it soak for 30 minutes.

Step 4: Launder as Usual

After the blouse is done soaking, rinse it off in the sink. Put it in washing machine on its usual cycle and launder as usual. To ensure the stain is completely gone, make sure you use plenty of detergent.
