Take a clean cloth and lightly dampen it with warm water. Gently rub the stained area of your ballet flats to get any remaining residue of ketchup off. Be sure not to rub too hard as you don't want to damage the delicate fabric of the ballet flats.
Mix one part white vinegar with one part warm water in a bowl. Dip a soft-bristled toothbrush into the solution and then use it to scrub the ketchup stain on the ballet flats. For tougher stains, you may need to use a bit more vinegar.
Once you have scrubbed stained area with the cleaning solution, rinse area one last time with warm water. Take a fresh, clean cloth and blot the excess moisture from the ballet flats. Allow ballet flats to air dry before wearing.
