3 Steps to Clean Ketchup Stains from Armani

Step 1: Blot the Stain
The first step to getting rid of a ketchup stain from Armani is to blot it with a clean, dry cloth. Work your way from the outside of the stain towards the center, so you don’t spread the stain. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing, as that can damage your fabric.
Step 2: Pre-treat Stain
Once you’ve blotted away as much of the ketchup as possible, it’s time to pre-treat stain. Create a paste of water and laundry detergent, and apply it directly to area. Use an old toothbrush to gently work the enzyme-containing detergent into fibers of the fabric, then let it sit for about 30 minutes before washing.
Step 3: Wash According to Instructions
After the pre-treatment stage, you’ll want to check the care label for specific instructions on washing your Armani garment. Hand wash items will require a gentle detergent, cold water, and gentle agitation. For machine washed items, use a mild detergent and a cold, delicate cycle. Dry according to the instructions, and check for success. If the stain is still present, repeat the steps.
