The most important rule of removing any kind of stain, especially those that involve wet sauces like ketchup, is to act fast! Grab an absorbent paper towel or cloth and blot at stain. Don't rub towel into stain as this may spread the stain and make it more difficult to remove.
Mix warm water and a bit of mild detergent together in a bowl and stir until it forms a sudsy solution. Dip a clean cloth into the solution and gently dab at the ketchup stain.
Once the ketchup stain is gone, rinse the area with cold water and let it air dry. Do not put the garment in the dryer or it may set the stain.
If you are still having trouble getting the stain out, repeat steps 2 and 3 until the stain is fully gone.
Never do laundry again. Save time for things you ❤️
