If water alone isn't enough to remove the stain, try using a mild detergent or soap.
Create a mixture of lukewarm water and a few drops of detergent, and use a cloth to dab it onto stain.

Using Vinegar and Water

Combine equal parts vinegar and water in a bowl, and mix it well.
Dip a clean cloth into the mixture, and use it to gently scrub the stain.
