Before you start cleaning process, it’s essential to gather all the necessary supplies. You’ll need a bowl, water, white vinegar, a soft sponge, a towel, and an old toothbrush.
Combine equal parts of white vinegar and water in the bowl. Mix them together until the solution is consistent and ready for use.
Take soft sponge and dip it into the solution. Gently blot the stain with the sponge. Make sure not to rub or scrub as it can damage the wallpaper.
Once you’ve blotted the area with the solution, use an old toothbrush to gently scrub any remaining stain. Be careful not to press too hard and cause further damage.
After you’ve finished scrubbing, rinse the area with clean water. Make sure to take your time and thoroughly rinse off the solution.
Take the towel and use it to dry the area. Make sure to pat the area dry instead of rubbing in circles as that can cause streaking.
If there’s any residue left on the wallpaper, use a soft sponge to gently remove it. Be sure to use a circular motion so that the residue comes off without causing any damage.
One of the most important steps is to allow the area to dry completely. This can take some time, so make sure to be patient.
