Eliminate Insect Repellent Stains from Your Beloved Toys with Ease

If your beloved toys have been on the receiving end of a well-meaning spray of repellent, then never fear. We have the tips and tricks you need to help you clean insect repellent stains from your favorite toys.

Things You Will Need
- Rubbing alcohol
- Cotton balls
- Baby wipes
- Dish soap
- A clean cloth
- Baking soda (optional)
Instructions
- Saturate a cotton ball or other soft cloth with rubbing alcohol, and gently rub the stained area. This should remove the majority of stain.
- If any of the stain remains, moisten a baby wipe with rubbing alcohol and continue to dab it into the stain until completely removed.
- Make a solution of one teaspoon of dish soap and one cup of warm water and use a clean cloth to lather it onto the stain. Let sit for 10 minutes, then gently blot away.
- If the stain is still lingering, mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a tablespoon of warm water to create a paste. Apply to stain and let it sit for five minutes before wiping away with a damp cloth.
- Air dry, or gently pat with a clean cloth.
Tips and Warnings
- Always test remover on an inconspicuous area prior to applying to the entire stain.
- Never mix household cleaners together. This could cause an unwanted reaction.
